Clinical Experience

Molly provides evidence-based therapy to adults, couples and families. In addition to her own private practice, she has over ten years of experience working as a therapist, supervisor, and program director in group private practice, residential treatment centers, and outpatient settings. She is a Certified DBT Clinician® provider through the DBT-Linehan Board of Certification and an active member of the National Association of Social Workers.

As Program Director of SoCal DBT, Molly oversaw a Comprehensive DBT Program for adults, provided clinical supervision to associate therapists, and managed a clinical team of staff therapists. In that leadership role, Molly co-developed and ran a family program that provides skills training and psychoeducation for family members of comprehensive DBT clients.

As a Primary Therapist, Molly coordinated care of complex cases presenting with co-morbid mental health disorders. She provided high-quality evidence-based treatment in residential treatment centers, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient treatment settings in Los Angeles. Prior to licensure, Molly worked as a DBT intern at Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT where she provided individual psychotherapy, sat on a multidisciplinary DBT consultation team, and co-led DBT skills groups. While at Silver Hill, Molly worked as a Residential Counselor in the transitional living program to provide milieu skills coaching to adults and adolescents with co-occurring disorders. Molly also previously worked on an adolescent inpatient unit at Four Winds Hospital in Katonah, NY as a Milieu Manager and Mental Health Worker. At Four Winds, Molly provided DBT milieu skills coaching and crisis de-escalation to adolescents with severe mental illness in an acute care setting.
